Big shout out to @jsweetd and the @minnesotawesties for our first camping adventure in Minnesota at #bakerregionalpark! Stoked for more midwest camping with the @minnesotawesties!
Excellent run today at @hollisterhillssvra with some new tires, killer custom laser cut and paint washed interior panels and awesome throwback floor mats from @vintagedashes! The mats are great with modern construction, modern materials and stay true to the original mats. Well done!
Will it make it to Syncrofest? Sure hope so! Made some great progress and put some appendages back on today... maybe seats sometime too.
Big thanks to @keccle and my buddy Aym!
New panel supply that fits the vanagon luggage racks and push button pins sourced at a new low price to make popping that panel on an off that much easier and cooler! 😎 Check out the www.campergy.com store!
It was a chill 2021 for me at Campergy, but…. 2022 is going to be a ride with some good stuff, so let’s start it with bURNINGvAN!!!! 10am til dark right across from the Beach Chalet Brewery 👍
I couldn’t believe it….@b2creates heard a strange sound, which ended up being the rear bearings, before I heard something for once. Her dad even had a suitable torque wrench to get the job done up right! Sure makes that 3/8 drive ratchet look tiny.
Grand times outdoors around the campfire last weekend amidst busses, vanagons and even some beetles camping in the redwoods with lightshow to top it off. 👍👍
@goosethewesty getting ready for spring adventures! After a flurry of 🇨🇦 orders last month there will be 5 sets rolling around the Canadian wilderness. Pretty stoked! 🍁🍁🍁🍁🍁 ...of course I had to add in the flag and maple leaf emojis...too bad there is no maple syrup emoji 😆
If you are still COVID locked down or your area slips back into one you can likely catch some great sites @hipcamp to exercise your solar panels and stay sane!
Preflight check and ready to load up the luggage rack. It’s surprising how much you can put under the panel. Ropes, outdoor rugs, inflatable snowman lawn ornaments, shoe horns, your favorite gorilla suit, and folding chairs to name a few.
Can’t face the van into the sun? Take your panel off! The cable extension with the wiring kit has a durable cable with single sealed locking connectors that allows remote panel placement. This way you can keep your van in the shade and not have to keep moving the van around!
Quick weekend getaway and had a nice look around the Elephant Rocks outside of Dillon Beach. Our furball tried to chauffer us around, but couldn't get the shifting figured out and wanted to drive after the squirrels. 😏
Check out this bracket kit at www.campergy.com which includes a built in arm to prop up your @renogysolar 100W compact panel help optimize your sun catch. The arm folds down and stows away on the front quick release pin.
Getting in new batches of parts is always like making a model car as a kid... pull em off the part tree, deburr them, prep and off you go to make something cool. Same fun as an adult, just in the garage instead of a basement corner and it makes something really useful!
Sent off a couple more orders of solar panels, brackets and wiring kits in my freeway flyer/camping/development/durability/marketing/transport/shipping... well....Do-It-All Vanagon to adventurers Midwest and New England.
The compartment under the panel (19.6”x42.2”x2.9”) is a great place to put things you don’t want to pack up in your westy or want Charles Barkley to find when he asks about your Volkswagen van out front... in there. 😏
The panel mounting brackets are aluminum and stainless steel to keep those pesky rust stains of time off the inside of your favorite most utilized and appreciated spot of your westy...the inside of luggage rack. 👍👍.
Ok... it’s a solar panel that comes off the vehicle, but what else? It sits down in the luggage rack making a compartment such that it’s not visible from the street, opens all the way and tilts up to enjoy the afternoon/evening sun with you.
